Privacy Policy ::: Jetix

1.This site ('the Site') is owned and operated by Jetix Europe Limited ('Jetix'). This Privacy Policy governs what personal information is collected via the Site and how Jetix uses it. The Site is part of the Jetix European web site network, and is designed for a general audience. Part of the Jetix European web site network provides sites aimed specifically at children. The use of such sites, and of the Site by persons under the age of 16 is covered by the Jetix Children's Privacy Policy (this is contained in our sites aimed specifically at children).

2. We encourage users to register on the Site so that they may submit comments and information and participate in the interactive activities offered. In order to register we require that users provide what is known as 'personally identifiable information' ('the Personal Information'), such as their full names and addresses.

3. Jetix will use the Personal Information to improve the quality and range of services available on the Site and to inform registered users of future Jetix events and announcements. In addition, Jetix may wish to share the Personal Information with other Jetix companies, selected business partners and advertisers so that they may, from time to time, send registered users information about their products and services. When Jetix collects Personal Information, we will ask your permission to store that Personal Information with those business partners. Permission to use the Personal Information will constitute permission to use the Personal Information in repeated instances until you request Jetix to stop using such Personal Information.

4. Jetix will only use the Personal Information for the purposes set out above unless we disclose other uses at the time of its collection. Jetix will inform you separately about such uses. Further, registered users always have the opportunity to expressly instruct us not to use the Personal Information in a particular way i.e. you can 'opt out'' of any uses of which you do not approve. This may result in all or part of the Site being unavailable for your use.

5. Jetix has relationships with selected advertisers and business partners which allow visitors to the Site to link directly to sites operated by these persons ('Third Party Sites'). It is important that you are aware that, although some Third Party Sites may be 'co-branded' with a Jetix logo, they are not operated, maintained or supervised by Jetix and that this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected on Third Party Sites. You are therefore advised to check the terms of the relevant privacy policy before submitting any Personal Information to any web site other than this one. Whilst Jetix chooses its advertisers and business partners carefully, it cannot be responsible for the content, policies or practices of Third Party Sites. Links to Third Party Sites do not constitute sponsorship, endorsement or approval by Jetix of the content, policies or practices of such Third Party Sites.

6. The 'Career Opportunities' page of the Site gives you the opportunity to submit your resume to Jetix if you are interested in working for us. If you do submit your resume to us we will endeavour to keep such resume in the strictest confidence and share the information contained in the resume with only Jetix companies.

7. Jetix has taken all reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information obtained on the Site by secure socket layer encryption facilities. Access to our database is password protected.
