Jetix Europe - Disney Co-production Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! To Launch At MIPCOM

  • First Jetix Europe and Walt Disney Television Animation co-production created for Jetix worldwide

  • Futuristic, fast-paced action-anime series of 26 x half hour episodes

Amsterdam, The Netherlands and London, UK - Jetix Europe N.V. (formerly Fox Kids Europe N.V.), the leading pan-European integrated kids entertainment company and part of Jetix, the global kids entertainment alliance, today announced the MIPCOM launch of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, an animated action-fantasy series co-produced with Walt Disney Television Animation.

Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! is the first original programming created specifically for Jetix worldwide. The series will premiere on September 18th, 2004 on Jetix-branded programming blocks on ABC Family and Toon Disney in the USA and will debut on Jetix Europe channels and branded blocks in 2005.

Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! is a half-hour futuristic anime-style action series for kids 6-12, that pits the forces of ultimate evil against a scrappy band of high-tech monkey warriors, led by a resourceful teen named Chiro. Fusing Japanese pop anime with quirky Western Cartoon comedy this epic, 'coming of age' sci-fi adventure centres on Chiro and his team of five multicoloured Robot Monkeys who defend their home, Shuggazoom City, against the evil Skeleton King and his monster minions.

Jetix Europe holds all TV rights for the first 26 half-hour episode series for Europe and the Middle East and is involved in all key creative and artistic elements. The series will join Jetix Europe's portfolio of programmes serviced by Buena Vista International Television.
